"GRANT SEMINAR"

WORKING TOGETHER, TO BETTER SERVE

Our grant seminar went better then expected, we had Shelly Maberry from Resources Associates as our main speaker. Shelly went from A to Z in grant writing. She said everything in layman’s terms so we all could fully understand the ins and outs of grant writing. We had many compliments from the varity of charities that attended.

We had this seminar at this time because April is in the middle of grant posting and we all can try our new skills that we learn on a few grant this season.

We are going to follow up with the charities that attended this seminar to see if anyone wrote a grant and if they received the grant that they wrote.

Remember, by standing side by side we will be able to get our share of funds and in-kind donations. Most of all you will be able to serve the less fortunate of your communities much better.

REMEMBER THE REASON
WE ARE IN MINISTRY!
WE ALL
SERVE THE SAME
GOD
All these years, small faith-based and small community charities have been trying to serve the under served and hurting people of their communities with nothing but a BIG HEART for the less fortunate. Typically funds go to the larger charities that have employees to write grants and have fund raisers.

Now the smaller organizations have the opportunity to join Florida Association for Hunger Relief Ministries (FAHRM), which will help write grants and share in fund raisers.

We have a lot of work ahead of us, so start telling everyone you know what FAHRM is doing and that they have an opportunity to join in the benefits. Working together makes sense.
