HELPING PEOPLE IS WHAT WE DO BEST
The Volunteer Way has been serving the underserved of Florida for the past fourteen years with food, personal items,
clothing, furniture and a kind word. We help 15,000 families each month throughout Florida with 5,000,000 pounds of food.
Just at our warehouse, 450 families come to us each month for help plus all the food pantries and soup kitchens that come
to us for free food to give to their needy. We not only feed the hungry but we have programs that take Food and personal items
to the low-income homebound elderly each month. We also visit with the elderly to combat their loneliness and if they are
not able to clean their homes, we send a cleaning crew once a month to clean their homes.
Our homeless program partners with Pasco County Sheriff's office by furnishing non-perishable food to give to any homeless
our other hungry people they come across during their normal duties. Each year there are more people finding it hard
to feed their families. With the taxes and insurance going up each year they can barely keep a roof over their heads. More
families are becoming homeless and at risk of becoming homeless. We need to help our local families to have a
stable family structure and become productive citizens of our society.
