The Volunteer Way Food Bank will have a Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday November 26, 2009. We expect to have games, clowns, and fun for all ages. We have many homeless, low-income families and people that are out of work that will have no Thanksgiving Dinner for their families. We hope to make their holiday a little better this year. We are in very difficult times, similar to the depression in the thirties. The way we all survived in those days, was by helping each other. We grow our own food and raised chickens to eat. In those days there were many homeless, which we called "hobos". We would save our coffee grounds for them to reuse. We would share our food with those that did not have any food. We can do the same things now, by helping others that are less fortunate. Remember, "But by the Grace of God, Ther Go I." JOIN US FOR THANKSGIVING DINNER Join us on Thursday, November 26, 2009 for a time of fellowship and a great turkey dinner. We will start serving our turkey dinner at 12:00 noon at First Assembly of God, 6310 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey, FL. Bring your family to join our families in a time of Thanksgiving. Even during these difficult time, we live in the best country in this world and we all have something to be thankful for.
