Every day more faith-based food pantries and soup kitchens close their doors to the hurting children and their families. It seems to me that our government would be very anxious to work with faith-based charities that do not charge fees. Faith-based charities can feed more people for much less then the charities that charge fees. We need all charities to work together, in order to help hungry people.
The reason most faith-based charities are closing their hunger relief outreaches is, they do not receive funds to pay fees that most food banks charge for their food. More families are going to hunger relief ministries because our economy is not in good shape.
IT IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE, FAITH-BASED CHARITIES ARE THE FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE AGAINST POVERTY!

Hunger has a cure, "FOOD". If our faith-based hunger relief charities received more help from our government and society, we could end hunger today. The only agenda food ministries have is to help less fortunate people of our society. They volunteer their time and many times, their money, to help hurting children and their families. Everyone in our society can do something to end hunger, call your nearest faith-based charity and ask how you can help. You will be very surprised how easy it is to help.
