On August 2, 2009, I will be 73 years young and still learning what God has in store for me. I have been Blessed with an exciting life from the first day I ask God to come into my heart. That day I made a commitment to serve God in any way He seen fit. Twenty four years latter, I am more excited then the first day God forgave me of my sins. Elohay Mauzi is my strength and the only reason I can continue on in His service. People may think that when you are saved, you go on through life with no problems, this is the furthest thing from the truth. God has a lot of work to do on me and He allows me to go through thing I personally do not want to go through. This is to change and build a better person and to make me strong in His Word. God Blesses His People "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." - Matthew 5:3-9
What ever your beliefs are, we all can agree that there are many hurting children, elderly, working poor and the homeless that need help during these difficult times. WE ALL CAN DO SOMETHING TO HELP HURTING PEOPLE. I keep going back to World War ll, how everyone worked together for the common good of all. We are in as much difficulty now as that time in history, so as Americans, lets all do SOMETHING to help a hurting person. If you are not sure what you can do or if you could make an impact on a hurting family, remember one person can change the hearts and minds of reasonable people. SKIP A MEAL, THEN DONATE THE FOOD OR FUNDS YOU SAVED
