WHERE LOVE ABOUNDS
Many times I think back to "the good old days" and wonder were we turned the corner that got us were we are today. I can remember "Hobos" coming to our door asking for food and we had very little, but we never turned anybody away that was hungry. In the "good old days" we had compassion and respect for ALL people. We would share with each other, what little we had. We had Victory Gardens and shared that food, we raised chickens for food and eggs, we went fishing and crabbing for food, we managed to feed our families and help others. That's enough of reminiscing, lets get back to reality, we are in desperate times today and we need to get back to "the good old days", working together to give hope to our struggling communities. When Americans join together in a common cause, there is NO stronger people in this world. We are a country of compassionate people, when we work together there is nothing we can not accomplish.
