DOING WHAT WE DO BEST,

The Food is starting to come to Florida

The Volunteer Way is starting to receive food from our new sources in March 2005. Now in April we will be receiving an additional two tractor trailers of food, which means we will be receiving between 8 and 10 tractor trailer each month. That breaks down to between 260,000 to 350,000 pounds of food each month.

I have been told to be careful what you ask for because you may get it. Well we have been praying for more food to be brought into Florida for the past year and God has been Faithful. We are taking a step of Faith and made a commitment to receive all this food for Florida and to expand our area of service. Each tractor trailer of food is free but we need to pay shipping costs. We are going to the business community to support the shipping cost.

JUST THINK OF THIS!
Two hundred members each serving two hundred people makes 40,000 voices and five hundred members each serving two hundred people makes 100,000 voices.
WE WILL DO GREAT THINGS
We need your Prayers, that this Faith Based Charity continues to grow and be able to serve the under served areas of Florida and that we can expand our programs to the needy.

Our efforts to start a new charity called Florida Association of Hunger Relief Ministries is going better then expected. We have charities from all over Florida sending in their applications to become member agencies. We should have well over 200 members with in six months. When we have 200 members or better we will be contacting the legislators to ask them for financial help to bring food into Florida for the many nutritionally challenged. We are having a grant writing seminar in April 2005 to help our members obtain grants to help run their charity and expand their programs to the needy.
