The Volunteer Way has been helping charities throughout Florida for years and
has decided to expand our efforts. We will be the lead organization in Florida to write grants and to share those funds with
other worthy causes that do not have the ability to write and administer grants. We have always believed that by joining
together, charities would have a better chance to receive some of the grant monies that the larger charities have been receiving
for years.
Last year we helped several food charities receive grants in the form of computer systems,
walk-in freezers and warehouse equipment.
We hope to start a state wide Brown Bag Program for the homebound elderly within the next year.

JUST THINK OF THIS!
When we receive grants and Operation Blessing and Compassion Alliance
sends us all the food we can handle, all our ministries will be able to do what they do best.
The Volunteer Way has been talking about our new contact, Compassion alliance,
for several months and we expect to be the lead organization for the food they bring into Florida.
We have written two capacity building grants which I believe we have a very good
chance to receive this year. We have hired a grant writer and expect to be receiving grants as a lead charity, this means
that the smaller member charities will be able to share in these grants and we will administer the grants.
The Volunteer Way is growing a lot faster then we ever expected. We are one of
the largest hunger relief organizations in Florida with the capability to move millions of pounds of food throughout Florida.
