About Us

The Volunteer Way Inc. (TVW) is a volunteer non-profit organization that has been serving people caught in poverty for more than fourteen years, we are commited to the less fortunate of our communities. TVW never charges a fee for the food our personal items they distribute to low-income people or the soup kitchens and food pantries we serve.

HELPING PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE ALL ABOUT MAKING MONEY BUT ABOUT HELPING THEM TO GET BACK ON THEIR FEET AND BECOMING PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS OF THEIR COMMUNITIES.

Each week more than 40,000 meals are served to the homeless and less fortunate families.

The Brown Bag Program assists the elderly of our communities. Many homebound elderly live on $700.00 or less a month. After paying rent and utilities there isn't anything left for food or medicines. We deliver 60 pounds of free food to these low-income homebound seniors every third week of each month plus something more important...someone to talk with each month.

Last year we distributed over 4,000,000 pounds of free food to non-profit food pantries and soup kitchens throughout Florida to serve the nutritionally challenged of our communities. We are commited to helping all under served people of our communities with a HAND UP.

Help us refuse to allow our children and elderly to be overlooked in our society. Every day we see more people just like you and me realizing that this great economy, that some are enjoying, is not reaching all the people; mainly the children and the elderly.
